Konomi Kita

I think that (former Liberal Democratic Party lawmaker) Koichi Hamada should form his own party. He's not afraid to speak his mind on controversial issues. More politicians need to be like that.
Ryo Kurahashi

I'd like to see Hiroshi Yamada, who represents Suginami Ward, form a party. He has done a lot of good work locally. (Note: Yamada announced plans Sunday to lead a new party, Nippon Soshinto.)
Aya Omura

I think it would be nice to see Beat Takeshi (Kitano) attempt a political career because he has a great sense of humor and seems like the type of person that could develop a new form of politics.
Kei Yamaguchi

I would like to see Beat Takeshi take a greater role in Japanese politics. It seems like he knows a lot of people, and whenever he appears on television he talks sense.
Yuka Kawakami
Office worker, 33
It would be good if Toru Hashimoto, who is currently the mayor of Osaka, formed a political party. He seems to have his own opinions and is not afraid to make them public.
Naoki Bando
Sales, 27
(Miyazaki Gov.) Hideo Higashikokubaru should form a new party. He has done a lot to reinvigorate the area where he grew up and it would be nice to see him attempt the same on a national level.
