Regarding "The fatally flawed math of risking it all in Japan" (Zeit Gist, Nov. 3):
Mr. Cory's story and the responses to his plight all offer food for thought.
Hopefully the people responding are not just writing stories but are actually trying to make a difference by doing something productive.
If you are sitting on the sidelines and doing nothing, then it is time to get off your ass and make a difference.
Join one of the many left-behind parent groups in Japan, peacefully protest, write to Diet members, contact your embassy, contact the legislatures in your home country, and contact one or more of the groups below to see how you can make a difference.
