I love Japanese literature. Read "The Wild Sheep Chase" by Murakami. It's a combination of reality and fantasy that gets you out of the everyday reality of life. There are talking cats, sheep and magic and much more.

I love to read and usually get through about 10 books a month. My recent favorite is "Kage Hinata ni Sa Ku," written by Gekidan Hitori. He has written many short stories that gradually merge together creating a complex plot.

A friend gave me a book called "The Game" by Neil Strauss, who claims to be the perfect pick-up artist. He has learned a lot about picking up women from many people throughout his life. It's a good book for tips and also an interesting read.

"The Unbearable Lightness of Being" by Milan Kundera deals with two people in Czechoslovakia. It has a little philosophy running through it and it has some nice thoughts about romance. I would definitely recommend this book.

I recommend "Sekai no Chushing de Aio Sakebu." This book is a fictional love story set in modern day Japan. The plot follows two young lovers as they come of age. It's romantic and a little sad, but I enjoyed it.

I read "Shantaram" by Gregory David Roberts when I was on holiday in Australia. It's a great book written by an Australian author that I would definitely recommend. "Shantaram" is a funny story about traveling through India.
