Well, we have daylight saving in Australia and I think it's a fantastic idea. You come home from work and there's still enough daylight to do something like go to the beach or have a barbecue.

It takes a little while to adjust to daylight-saving's time, but I can't imagine living without it. Daylight saving's makes sense.

Both ways would be fine for me, but the start would be a bit inconvenient. They should have a trial in Tokyo. For Japanese people it's difficult to go home if the sun's up. Some people feel a duty to work.

Well it wouldn't cause me to work anymore hours. Being from the States, where we have it, I really haven't noticed any change in Tokyo.

I think the idea is good, but I experienced daylight saving in America and it was a bit confusing. Initially I can see it being a big problem to switch over for business, but once we get used to it, it would be OK.

The thing about daylight saving is the closer you are to the equator, the less benefit you get. I'm not sure how much it would help Japan.
