NHK tried to change facts about the story of comfort women, so now I can't trust their documentaries. Even though the director quit his job to take responsibility, he was hired again as an adviser. I hate that.

I suppose their credibility has been compromised but look at the big picture -- it probably happens all the time, but isn't publicized as much.

I don't think it's any more credible today than it was a year ago, based on the reports coming out of NHK. Government news everywhere is biased but NHK seems to lack even the subtlety of U.S. news.

It's not a problem for me; it doesn't bother me, because every time I watch NHK I enjoy it. I like the programs, but I don't believe everything.

I think like everything else in Japan, it just needs to be cleaned up. There's a lot going on under the table and no accountability, but overall I think NHK is reliable.

I feel silly paying money to NHK because they waste it and lie so I can't trust them. But when I remember the quality educational programs and news information I just hope they work better in future.
