There are many ways to learn a language. And there are several introduction services that brings students and teachers together. None, however, have the commitment and organizational safety net of Go Girls.

Meredith Marlow signed on with Go Girls as a teacher offering English as a second language in October. Now she is the company's teacher and educational services manager as well as teaching 15 students a week in the privacy of her own home in Akasaka, central Tokyo.

As she explains: "Caroline (Pover) -- who began Go Girls with two other directors, both Japanese women, and two male business partners, one Japanese, the other Korean -- recruited me. I got involved through her book, 'Being A Broad,' and went along to the Go Girls launch party. With a few students and teachers signed up, we progressed from there."
