However, Tatsuya Kawahira is a clear exception. From sports to studying, Kawahira is getting the most out of his university years.

In his sixth and final year at Kanagawa Dental College, there's no doubt Kawahira, 23, has really got his teeth into his studies. Unlike regular university students, his time sheet is packed with classes from 9 a.m. to 4:20 p.m., and rather than frittering his time away like so many others, he declares: "It's just like how it was in high school.
