Betty Glover from Perth, Australia, cannot walk too easily these days. This does not stop her from traveling however. Assisted by daughter Mo (Maureen) and son-in-law Deg (Derek), she is just coming to the end of a two-month trip to the U.K. and -- a bit of a surprise this one! -- Japan.

"We'd planned to go straight back to Perth from England," she explains, "but when we heard (granddaughter) Alyson was getting married on July 28, we changed our tickets for a weeklong stopover. It only cost us an extra $200 each. Anyway I wouldn't have missed it for anything."

Alyson is 34, and from Cheshire (where the English cheese comes from).
