The recent Tokyo collections, for spring/summer 2001, brought together over 50 designers for two weeks of shows.
Glancing through the show schedule it's soon obvious that some of the big names are missing: no Yohji Yamamoto, no Comme des Garcons.
Time marches on, and the new labels of the new century are from younger, up-and-coming designers who use curious names like Multiple Marmalade, Earth of Mother, Lad Musician and my favorites, Obscure Desire of Bourgeoisie and Pim:Liko (Picky Mania:Limitation K-O).
