The Japan Times, Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Takeharu Tsutsumi) launched today an online version of the Japan Network Updates at https://www.japantimes.co.jp/jnu, whose Monday paper version introduces The Japan Times readers community members.

Japan Network Updates is a series that started in November 2017 to further communication within the foreign community in Japan by featuring personalities of the community leaders who have strong connection with Japan. It compiles profiles of company presidents, ambassadors and other active leaders. In it, these leaders share their insights on a variety of topics that include their proudest achievements, goals, first encounter with Japan and advice for others in the Japan Network.

In the online version, various foreign leaders who have been covered on paper are archived and The Japan Times will keep adding new community members and updating existing information. They can be searched via name, organization, region and industry type. The Japan Times will also add people residing outside Japan who have strong connection with Japan to Japan Network Updates in the future.

The Japan Times launched the paper version in November 2017.
