Regarding the Nov. 18 article, "Cracks in Tepco's 3/11 Narrative": Jake Adelstein broke the story with David McNeill in their July 2, 2011, Atlantic Wire story "Meltdown: What Really Happened at Fukushima?" Other scientists confirmed it as well.
But nuclear power plants are safe, and really, really wonderful, don't you forget it! Radiation is perfectly safe, you should just keep eating bananas, they have radiation and taste good with a beer. Luckily though, the new secrecy bill will make it illegal to tell the truth in public, which means that from now on two plus two does equal five.
