The U.S. Embassy is accepting applications to participate in the new Tomodachi Women's Leadership Program for highly motivated college students.
The selected Japanese female university students will be invited to events from this June to March to develop their own leadership development goals with the guidance of midlevel professionals who serve as mentors.
Up to 15 female first- and second-year students at undergraduate universities (Japanese national or permanent resident only) with fluent English ability will be accepted.
Applicants must fill out the application form, which can be obtained at goo.gl/zOchm, and submit it via the website by May 6.
