Prosecutors on Friday indicted TV comedian Masashi Tashiro on a charge of using stimulant drugs.
Tashiro, 45, was arrested on suspicion of peeping into a neighbor's bathroom in Ota Ward, Tokyo, on the night of Dec. 9 and the drugs were found later when police searched his apartment.
MTM Production, the entertainment agency that managed Tashiro, dismissed him on Dec. 11.
Tashiro was fined 50,000 yen in December 2000 for using a hidden camera to peep up women's skirts at a railway station in Meguro Ward, Tokyo.
He resumed TV appearances in June.
